The Moments of Love - 3. Jyothi you shocked me that summer

After my final exams I was quite nervous about my results. I was very happy when I came to know that I stood first in the class and the Headmistress admired me for my work. My mom felt proud on hearing the admirations from my teachers and Headmistress. I was very happy. My mom accepted to join me in a famous tuition run by Mr. Guruvareddy Sir. Though it was costly my mom managed it for me as she felt I should be provided with the best academic support in every possible way. I had 15 days left before the commencement of the classes in the tuition. Apart from that my dad got a call from my grand pa that he wants to see me. So, my dad booked a ticket for my journey.
I was very trilled because it will be my first journey alone. And as I reached the station Chanti uncle came to receive me and took home at Navuduru where my grand pa stays. I roughly remember that after 3 or 4 days Janardhan uncle came to visit me and took me along with them to Penugonda ( its Jyothi's town) as they were about to attend a marriage there. I was droped in my Shanthi aunti's (her mom) house and all the elders went to attend the marriage.
When entered the house she was caught by surprise when she saw me and said," Hey Bobby, When did u come? How are your mom, dad and your brother?" After dinner we had a long chat. She was excited about her VII public exams. She was describing how though were somepapers and I also joined her describing my experience when I wrote my public exam in VII. I asked her what percentage is she expecting and she said that she was expecting 85 above. Among my cousins I am the elder one. And as I being a good student, all tried to beat my marks. She also worked hard to cross my marks in VII. I was able to figure out this from her words. Then elders returned from the marriage and Shanthi aunty was pleased to see me and asked how I was doing in school and home.
Then aunty and uncle went to bed as they were very tired attending the marriage. It was about 9 I suppose; one of the local channels aired a comedy movie named Hanuman Junction. It was very famous as the most hilarious. She has already seen it once but for me it was for the first time. Usually, I laugh a lot louder than an average person when I come across awesome jokes. Seeing my laughter Jyothi startled and started laughing even though she already saw a super comedy scene in that movie. Aunt also woke up with that laugh. So, I had to control it but I was not able to. The second half after that scene was boring so we turned off the TV and wished each other goodnight went to our respective beds.
Having spent 2 days there we went to Tanuku were my little cousins Suma and Shiva live. Lavanya was the only girl among my cousins those days. So, she was very dear to everyone in our whole family. It was a police quarters as my uncle worked in police department. Aunty was very pleased to see both of us as it was after a long time that we met them. There we spent about 3 days when one of the days and I had good time pass of playing cricket with local boys. I used bet some money and I used to lose my money as always my team was lost. Then along with my little cousins Lavanya and Shiva we both went to Navuduru, the place where grand paa stays.
I was left with only couple of days as my summer tuitions in were about to begin. So, I asked Chanti uncle to book tickets for me to Hyderabad. He said that he would be accompanying me and planned to travel by bus. So, we were about to head to Palakollu where my Janardhan uncle and his family lives. Then suddenly Jyothi asks uncle that she would come with us to bid me a send off. Uncle told her he would definitely take her if she won't cry demanding to take her with us to Hyderabad. She agreed to it so we left to Palakollu. As e reached home I felt very happy as usually visit them after one year and they were also pleased by our visit.
Jyothi and me along with other cousins had lots of fun there playing around in a ground nearby. On the day we were about to leave, uncle bought two tickets for the bus journey. Then suddenly Jyothi starts to cry and demands uncle to her with us. I was shocked by her behaviour. She was very rigid in her thought and refused to change her mind. Even Shanta aunty came there to pursue her. But she heard none her words and continued crying. Then Chanti uncle told her that all tickets were booked so, she can’t come with us. Then she asks uncle to take me to check about the availability and she also came with us. Then after uncle took us to the counter I went to the guy who issues tickets about the availability of tickets for booking and as I got a positive response she asked him to book the ticket urgently. Uncle called her mother and she also accepted at last.
I was a sort of happy but feared what mother would say if I bring her with me. Then we took the bus and we both got the seats beside each other and my uncle was seated in the last row alone. We had long talks about class lives and also about our friends. Then we had a nice nap and reached Hyderabad by morning. As we reached home mom was caught by surprise on seeing her. She even tried to scold me to letting her to come with me but I escaped from her saying that I have to meet my friends to know about my new tuition schedule.
My tuition time was 5 in the morning and it is the most horrible time table I ever had. I had to get up by 4 am and rush after getting fresh because even if the students were late by one min Sir would punish us. After reaching home I took rest and Venkatesh uncle who live with us Hyderabad thought of taking her to various places here as it was her first visit. I was not able to accompany her as I was busy with my home works. On the day they ( Jyothi and Chanti uncle) were about to leave Venkatesh uncle was about to take her to Imax and Birla Temple. I was free this time so felt very happy to be in her company. We went to IMAX first and it was very famous (it was opened recently those days) for its beauty. It had multiplex theatres, shopping places, food courts and gamming parlour also. Then uncle took us to the gamming parlour where I played some video games. Then we both played a game together which was to knock as many toy crocs as possible and we had lots of fun. Then spent some time there and headed to Birla Temple.
It is the first temple that we both visited together. We had to hurry she had to pack her things for the journey that day. So, we went to the temple in great hurry and after visiting Lord Venkateshwara, had returned home. Journey with her, spending time with her and visiting temple with her, it was like a dream. After giving so many happy moments she left Hyderabad. Even though the visit was accidental, that year was made one of the most memorable ones by her visit.
The next year’s summer was about to become the most impactful one in my life.
